1 Plantain (peeled and sliced 1/4″)

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sea Salt to taste

 

In a large skillet over high heat, add olive oil. When hot, add sliced plantains.

Slices will brown quickly, so turn over once they become crisp and remove from heat.

Add sea salt to taste.

 

My husband and I love new desserts! These Plantains look like large green bananas in the produce department, but they are best when allowed to ripen at room temperature to yellow with black spots before cooking. They are sweet yet salty and add a Caribbean flavor to any meal!
