Jasmine Rice and Plant-Based Roast

2 cups water

1 onion, chopped to 1/2″

1 Plant-Based Roast, chopped to 1″

2-3 Tbsp olive oil

sea salt and ground black pepper

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp curry

1 tsp cumin

 

In a small pan, heat water and Jasmine rice for 10 minutes covered with lid. Remove from heat when water begins to boil, keep covered, and allow water to absorb before serving.

In a large skillet over high heat, saute chopped plant-based roast and onion in olive oil and garlic. Stir in Jasmine rice when water has absorbed. Cover to allow flavors to mix until ready to serve.
