2 cans black beans, rinsed

Black Bean and Chickpea Chili

1 can chickpeas, rinsed

1/2 pkg frozen chopped onions with bell peppers

1 pkg frozen meatless ground

2 cans chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup mild salsa

2-3 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning: (Mix following ingredients and store in airtight container.)

(1 Tbsp. chili powder, 1 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes, 1/4 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp ground black pepper)

 

In a large skillet over high heat, saute onions and meatless ground in olive oil. Stir in tomatoes, black beans, chickpeas, and 2 Tbsp.seasoning. Cover and reduce heat to medium for about 10 minutes. Serve!
